Grandparent Mass
What a great way to end our Catholic Schools Week with our grandparent Mass. Thanks to all those that were able to join us! Sorry I couldn't get as many pictures as I would have liked to!
Magazine Vocabulary
Today for Vocabulary, we looked in magazines for pictures that would represent our vocabulary words. Then they needed to defend the picture as to why it fits by writing it in a sentene.

Game On!
As part of our "community" day for Catholic Schools Week, grades were paired up with another class. We met with our kindergarten buddies and played a variety of games. What a great way to hang out and enjoy some quality time with our buddies!
Come Celebrate!
For our recent Writing piece, we read I am in Charge of Celebrations where the main character describes many different "made up" holidays. From there, students came up with their own holiday. I have some creative kids!
Making Blankets
As part of Catholic Schools Week, we made fleece blankets to donate to the Francis House. Between all three 5th grade classes, we made 50 blankets!!! Thank you so much to all those that donated fleece. Thank you to those that volunteered: Mrs. Kennedy, Mrs. Backhaus, Mrs. Byrne, Mrs. Agostino, Mrs. Grimes, Mrs. Beth Augustine, Mrs. Angie Augustine, and Mrs. Reiner. The kids did such a great job!!!!
